About

Blog Content. The reason why I decided to go traveling is that I wanted to learn, see, taste, hear, touch things that are new to me.
I wanted to be challenged by situations so that I would learn (and be changed) in the process of facing them.
I wanted to meet people who live, think, feel and believe different from me.
I wanted to know what it feels like to experience a diversity of lives: from living in front of the beach to going vegetarian to working abroad.
So I will be writing about the sensations, the experiences, the characters, the lifestyles that my travels bring along. But I don’t want to just tell facts and feelings; I want to go further. I will be reflecting on them, ruminating over the details, exploring their perspectives, unraveling their lessons.

Why do people like stories? Because they can relate to them. And by relating, people discover new aspects, original solutions, calming answers to their own worries. That is why I am writing.

Writing style. I’m an editor. Being an editor is not something you learn and forget like the 10 Commandments. When you are an editor (a true editor, an editor by passion), you breath editing, you think editing, you process editing and you write editing. So, usually, you keep the reader’s profile and the text’s objective in mind.
That said, I can’t deny I just love literary prose. I have got goose-bumps and felt an exhilarating warmth creep up my body over an originally constructed sentence brimming with exotic words. The ultimate effect is something I can only describe as that sticky feeling at the back of your mouth when you have an overdose of dulce de leche, or condensed milk, or chocolate, or anything extremely sweet.

Backstory. Born and raised in Buenos Aires (Argentina), I did everything I was supposed to: got a high school scholarship in one of the best private schools, worked, graduated as an editor at the University of Buenos Aires (with honours), got a job in an international company where I learned how to program, moved out of my parent’s house into my own apartment… got bored, got depressed, got out. Now, I have only what fits into my backpack (as long as it doesn’t add too much weight), my home are the hostels that let me stay in exchange for work and my life-long dream of leaving next to the sea is my everyday reality.

Travel Style. Since I’m traveling on a tight budget, I go from place to place exchanging work for accommodation, which gives me the chance to enjoy all the perks of living in a hostel plus an insider’s peek. Little by little, I’m becoming an expert in hostel managing, marketing, content… but most of all, cleaning! Also, I tend to look for small jobs that will allow me to continue traveling, although I get more experiences, friends and lessons than money. Talk about Serendipity!
